Search seemingly broken for real now.

I now keep running into the issue that I am searching my own listings in seller hub and getting zero results for items that I absolutely have. I search seller hub or as a customer for beanie and get zero results, when I have 150 listings with that word in the title.

I can drop exact titles of some of my listing into manage active listings and get no results.

If you search ebay for Beanie baby you get 29 results. Now granted no one is buying them anyway, but that shows that something is seriously broken.

Yes, when my youtube channel took off I decided to change my account name to match the channel.  I haven't been around the forums as much because I have been plowing that time into making videos instead.

It is actually the word Beanie, that is seemingly being filtered, not beanie baby.

I actually made a video about it today.

It's really annoying to search your own listings to see if you listed an item yet, get zero results and then turn around a day later to find it WAS already listed and you now have a duplicate.

I have the same problem with seller hub active listings page. It's been going on for about a month.

I too have been unable to locate some of my listings easily using search.  I was just going over some old inventory to make sure it was indeed listed and a few items required using search of the entire Ebay to locate my listing as searching my own listings came out empty.  Good thing I took the time to do multiple searches, all using the same keywords, so as not to create any duplicate listings.

There was another posting similar to this in the last few days. I think I recall that the only way they could see the desired listing in their store was to use quotes--"beanie".  The consensus was that the search function is not working. Sorry-I can't remember which listing it was but I think the FTC was mentioned.(?).

I get 130,00 results, but they are of babies wearing beanies!

I get that zero results on one of mine. One 3 letter entry, and comes up zero, but I know I have it, as I just sold one today. (OOS multiple quantity listing) If I add a second word from the title it then shows up. Using the same 3 letters in site wide search comes up with 200,000+ results, so it isn't like eBay can not search with just those 3 characters.

I thought it was because of just using the "3 letters", but when I tried it with another "3 letters" from another listing in my hub that search comes up just fine.

On Feb 2nd I was told " We are currently experiencing a on going issues on the website, but nothing to worry this is already being fix as we speak. let me add your account to our priority list so once the issue is fix you will be notified through email."

I hav chatted with the customer service agents in a foreign country, not in the US several times since then. One was actually rude when I asked for a possible date that it would be fixed. I suggest to always chat and get the transcript.

@onefootflipperI think all of us with youtube channels need to make videos addressing this issue. Maybe if enough of us are out there yelling about it eBay will actually do something. This is still happening to me and it's not okay. We're paying a store fee every month and features our buyers need to use in our stores should be working and features we need in our Seller Hub need to work. I started another thread about this (didn't see yours) and shared screenshots of my search results to prove it's broken. I also contacted support and will continue to do so until they fix this. It's no wonder sales are slow if people searching our stores aren't finding things because the search is broken.

Search seemingly broken for real now.

The other day, I had searched the term jersey in my store, so I could list a similar item and it only showed my cycle jerseys. I looked at my other jersey listing, all of which have the word jersey in the title. The only difference I could see is that all my jerseys were in clothing category and my cycle jerseys were in sporting goods/cycle jersey category. Now apparently the search focuses on category and not actual words in the title????

I needed to search for the specific term: Diables Bleus but Ebay keeps returning the English translation,  Blue Devils - I'm not searching for Blue Devils, I'm searching exactly for  Diables Bleus.  But I can't do it.  It was broken on purpose, probably to force more clicks on the site doing the same thin gover and over.

wastingtime101 -

I've a comment on another thread somewhere with my first instance of this problem, but now have had a second case. It's the case where a search for two keywords will not return a listing, but either key word separately does return the listing. Unbelievably, all I had to do to make it work properly in ""Manage active listings", was to change the search from "All" to "United States". This might be a fluke or might be useful in troubleshooting.
