Search engine question

I have several kachina carvings listed right now.

When I type the word "kachina" into the search engine, only one of my listings shows up for me, even when I am searching within my own listings.

If I filter the results to all sellers and nearest first, I get the same result, only one showing up.

The one that shows up is a signed piece and I therefore put it in the Native American category.  The others are in the "non Native American crafts" category, even though I know they are Native American, but I am not allowed to list them as Native American because of the rules.  I can find hundreds of unsigned kachinas listed in the Native American category but I dare not do this because I know they will take my listings down.  That's another issue but I'm not complaining about that.  My question is, why do the other listings not show up when I search in my own listings or nearest first/all sellers?

I guess I must be NO ONE 🙂

No, you are doing it because of a fascination to find you listings. When I said NO ONE, I was talking about someone searching to actually "buy" a Kachina. No one else would waste that much time when there are thousands to choose from. Smiley Wink

I would add the word "doll" to all the listings.

I went ahead and added 'doll' hoping the re-indexing will occur with enough time left to positively impact the outcomes.

Thanks for the advice.

Fascination perhaps but it was more out of curiosity as to why the views were so few.

I probablly do waste alot of time when searching for stuff too 🙂

Re: Search engine question

Did eBay stop  putting our listings out on other search engines like yahoo or Google? because i cut and pasted 9 of my  listing headings put it in the  Google search engine and Only 1 of them appeared,> the only one that did appear is the one i paid extra to have it showcased, my other listings were ones with eBay's promo offer to "sell 100 items with NO listing fee"

So i am curious as to eBay's handling of mine and everyones elses listings,  if they only put our listings in other search engines if we pay the .35 listing fee?

why bother to hand out promotions and waste our time, if our listing are NOT in any search engine Google or Yahoo then why bother, ?
