When I list items, I have to research every item via Google and eBay to create the listing and price the item.

I never have any problems finding exactly what I am looking for using eBay search or Google.

When I buy on eBay, I can find exactly what I am looking for in most every case.

Care to offer up some details? I have never had any issues with the search engine. Of course individual results depend on what parameters you use when you execute the search.

It's not perfect but eBay search is better than a lot of marketplaces in my experience. Stand alone single seller ecommerce sites tend to be better but even many of them are deficient.

Have to agree with you on that one. It would have been nice if the OP had included some specifics but I doubt they will return since in their original post they stated "That's all I got to say" which I am assuming refers to the title of the posting.

It's completely broken anymore. On one browser, where I'm signed in, it will limit the search results to 160 entries. On another browser, where I'm not signed in, it will have the full range of search results, most of the time. Wonder if it's arbitrary, randomized between users, applied only to signed in users, or a setting we can disable? I've tried clearing my cache and cookies, no go.

"Ebays search engine is a joke. It is a mess."

Have you tried Etsy's?  THAT is a big mess, in my opinion.

Doesn't mean the search is good. It's horrible and has been for a while. Shouldn't have to use parenthesis and it definitely should not limit search results by selecting lowest price. If select highest it shows highest price and all items but when selecting lowest many items disappear, with many of the ones missing being lower priced. And yes I know u can select see all results but it should do that anyway.

Search works fine for me.  If I want a pair of white jeans chances are it will be faster to search on eBay than get in the car and drive to the mall.  Five minutes versus an hour or two.
