watch out for scammers! if anyone send you cash staright to your paypal and wants to go around ebay. Paypal says theres no way to block someone from sending you money to your account. i returned the money because the customer gave an unverified adress in japan. the person sent the money back and asked to send it to a different email, i didnt, i returned it back to the same person - then they filed unauthorized charge through paypal for the original amount they sent me. they tried to double their money essentially, in the mean time paypal charged my banking credit card for the amount!! my advise leave the cash alone- dont touch it spend it or send it, leave it alone and dont communicate with them for as long as possible.

Never give your email address to a buyer. They NEVER need it. All they have to do is pay through the pay now button on the listing.  Don't give them a phone number for texting, either.

The easier you are to offend the easier you are to control.

What did they say that suggested to you that they wanted to go around Ebay?  Were you giving them a better price or something?  What was their incentive to cut Ebay out of the transaction?

Paypal says theres no way to block someone from sending you money to your account. i returned the money because the customer gave an unverified adress in japan.

So you are saying that if their address would have been verified you would have completed the transaction with the customer?  The "unverified address" is NOT a problem.  PP does not require it to be verified and hasn't for a few years now.

the person sent the money back and asked to send it to a different email, i didnt, i returned it back to the same person

They wanted WHAT sent to a different "email"?  Or did you mean a different address?

- then they filed unauthorized charge through paypal for the original amount they sent me. they tried to double their money essentially, in the mean time paypal charged my banking credit card for the amount!!

They most likely were NOT trying to double their money.  Just because you refunded it does NOT mean they have it back yet.  PP is much slower at processing refunds than they are when you receive a payment.  So chances are pretty good the customer was not informed yet that they had a refund on the first payment.

You assume too much.  This would not be the best way to handle a customer and would leave you open to more problems.

Did this buyer purchase something from you on Ebay??  This is an important question that needs an answer to adequately help and advise you.
