Scammers on eBay

I am sick and tired of losing money to scammers and of eBay allowing them to do so. I sold a train to one. It was part of a lot of pristine new in the box collector trains. He sent me pictures of a similar train that beat all to hell and claimed that was what I sent him. I immediately contacted eBay. They said don't worry about it don't do anything now I am supposed to refund him and I know already he is going to send his piece of junk and keep my beautiful train. hen he gave me negative feedback! I think I am done with eBay. They do nothing to protect the sellers.

It looks like a very nice train, but the other poster is right.  In your listing you do not show a pic of the actual train like you do in your other listings.

You wouldn't be able to win any battle that may come if the buyer files for a return for refund.  So don't try.  It won't work and it will only get you a defect on your account.

You currently are offering No returns which really does nothing for you except for properly filed Buyer Remorse returns.  All sellers have to meet or exceed the MBG [money back guarantee] in their return policies.

You may want to consider Free Returns as it will offer you some protections that you may benefit from.  Keep in mind that Free Returns means you pay for the return shipping.  But you already do that anyway on an INAD.  So why not move to Free Returns where if you get a return like you think you are in this case, you can issue a refund with up to a 50% discount on the refund and have your FB protected.  Which would mean that the neg would get removed once you issued the refund.

Just a thought for you to consider for the future.  BTW, Free Returns isn't likely increase your claims from buyer.

It it's the person who left you the neg, you never showed a photo of the train itself.  And it was taken out and unwrapped by someone.
