Why can't we make a rule that anyone under 5 Ebay feedback reviews can't bid on items more then $250, the amount of scammers on here is disgusting and it makes selling a pain in the @#$. More and more it just makes sense to sell local and avoid this place.
Also, just tried to sell an Iphone it went the 7 days and as soon as the bidding ended and it sold the person said they didn't have the money, why can't we have some type of hold for buyers, so that when they they bid they pay, instead of them being able to back out as soon as the listing ends? You shouldn't be able to bid on things if you don't have the money right then and there....
Is Ebay anti-Seller?

Boy that is frustrating, remember "scammers never let a good crisis go to waste" and Iphones, electronics, better jewelry are scam magnets right now and mix that with a little slow delivery service with carriers you will have many sleepless nights in Seattle". I myself have haulted all listings for a few months until this horrible nightmare slows and I understand alot of sellers cannot do this but be a little more diligent on what you list right now, we'll get thru this!

AND HOW!

Instead of using the auction format, use Fixed Price, with Immediate Payment Required. That way, the listing stays up until the item is paid for.

about once a month I get a zero feedback bomber who manages to end my listing. 10 and under should be prohibited from Buy it Now over a set price, perhaps $500.
I can't set for immediate payment because the items in question have no shipping.
I just file NPB as soon as I am able and close the case - automatic assistant for some reason does not catch these guys. 99% I never hear a peep from, once in a while one claims they made a "mistake" ... no idea how since you have to click through two screens to end a listing.

We shouldn't stop there. Ebay should prohibit new and low feedback sellers from listing high dollar, high demand items until they have at least, say, 20 feedbacks and a minimum of $500 in their PayPal.

I never leave feedback on my buyers until at least a day or two after their item was delivered. In case of shenanigans. oldtownrhoda
Yeah and I have some shenanigans happening now . I have a buyer that claims a charm wasn't on the keychain she bought from me. I know this isn't true because the charm she is referring to I clearly remember wiping down before I shipped it . It also happens to be the largest and most expensive item on the keychain . I would have seen a 2 by 3 inch RARE charm laying around here,, if she didn't have it . Anyway ,, I asked her to return for a refund the first time she contacted me . She doesn't want to return it instead she wants a whole brand new keychain sent to her for free and she added ASAP . I said,, I'm sorry but no can do ,, its refunds by return only . I used to play along with this stuff but experience has taught me to be wiser than that . Tulips
