Everyday for the past three days at 5am, this person have been actively trying to scam me.
It's only been on one specific listing! A laptop!
When I woke up the first morning I was excited to see that I recieve an offer but I was confused on the offer in which was automatically accepted. It was at the same Buy It Now price. So red flags hit me. I also noticed that they didn't pay immediately. Most people do so.
The scammer has been :
- Matching the Best offer price
- Sending me messages
- Asking me to contact them via phone #
- "Concerned" if i'm the owner.
- Made 4 accounts within 3 days asking for the same product at the same price.
- Name on accounts do not match the default account name
I honestly have no clue why the scammer feels the need verbally speak nor can I comprehend why this person is continuing. Please enlighten me on how this scammer was going to "claim their glory", because I see a faulty method in doing so.

They're probably just running a script. There's no human interaction required by them until a seller responds. Unless or until that happens, they'll run that same script every day at 5:00 a.m. (your time), and wait to field responses from excited sellers. It is indeed a scam, and a pretty scalable one, since they can run the initial stuff automatically.
Save yourself a lot of similar grief by dumping the silly Make Offer option and just listing it as a BuyItNow for the price you want. Be sure to set the Immediate Payment Requred option checkbox on your listing, so that no one can snatch your item off the market without actually paying you for it first. (If over $750, don't forget that Signature Confirmation will be required for seller protection against Item Not Received disputes. Delivery Confirmation will suffice for sales below that.)

It's a scam that seems to be happening more and more often. Check out this post and recommendations. Personally, I never use automatic acceptance on Best Offers.

Is it the same account that is doing so.
If yes, then block it.
If under various accounts, call ebay and see if they can link the accounts together.
If so they may ban him.
