Scammed - an INR Case Appeal was Wrongly Denied by eBay

A few weeks after I shipped an antique coffee pot to Italy, the buyer opened an Item Not Received case.
I submitted the tracking details on April 26th: the same day the case was opened.  The item was still in transit.
The case closed, and then my appeal was denied: "Unfortunately, you didn't provide tracking information in time to win this case."

The record clearly shows that I did provide tracking on time.

How can this happen?

The upside it that if this is just really slow customs, and the buyer is honest, they will pay for the item when they receive it, and Ebay will lose out on it's 10% for trying to screw you. This has happened to me several times.

No, eBay will keep its 10% for escalating the case in favor of the buyer.

They have done the same to me. Ill never sale to Italy again!
They opened and closed a case in 10 minutes.
I have posted the Tracking number on the 06-10 and they opened a case in 12-10 and close it in favor of the buyer. The item was sent by regristred air mail and i have the buyer signature in the air mail slip.
This is a Mafia!
