Hi,
Just reporting that I have someone emailing me, using 'eBay, ' as her name regarding an item I am selling.
She repeatedly keeps saying to post urgently, that shes paid through paypal and sent me a paypal screenshot but I have not received any payment through paypal or ebay. The messages aren't even through ebays inbox.
I said i would not sell, shes hounding me, I said I will wait to receive official confirmation from paypal and ebay until I post and told her that I think shes a scammer and that I will report her. Shes now threatening to report me if i dont post the item.
I don't believe for a second that shes a true buyer.

You're right, definitely a scammer.
Ask for her eBay username - you can say something like "to confirm payment" or whatever. Once you get the username, report immediately.

Definitely a scammer.
Block the email address. Report it to abuse@ <the name of her email provider>
Stop emailing her. The more you respond, the more the scammer will pressure you. When you ignore, they will eventually go away. There is ABSOLUTELY NOTHING this person can report you for, so don't let that bother you.
Good for you for not falling for this!

How did she get your personal email? Is she just saying 'item' and not stating what it is? The she's really fishing, hoping you sell on ebay, have something for sale and ship it to her....

Alternatively.... keep responding to waste her time so she doesn't target someone who actually will fall for it.
Baiting scammers can be fun if done correctly.

Block the email address on the IP level and you won't hear from her again.

I love playing with scammers.
I had a chance one time to share 12 million dollars and all I had to do was pay a $300 processing fee.
I played with him a couple weeks until I told him he was scamming people, never heard anymore from him.

I had this today. Don't know how they got my personal email address and was for an item that I was actually selling. Ignored it.
