It's a learning experience...that's for sure. I've been here since 1997 and I still learn new ways of selling. Lately, I've been putting about 75% of my stuff on Promoted Listings. I don't know if it has helped since I started giving eBay more money for that feature, but stuff have *seemed* to move a lot faster. I have nothing to back that up though.

Good luck in selling here. It can be a LOT of fun and profitable.

One other thing I was going to mention...change your pricing to go with "Free" shipping. That statement is going to have very vocal supporters on both sides, but I have found that since I went to a flat BIN with Best Offer and Free Shipping, my sales have gone up on a smaller stock from when I was running more auction type sales with shipping added.

I'm going to guess about 80% sells at the full price. But I do a lot of research in previous sales and try to price middle of the road. And sometimes, if it is a one off type thing with no history....well then it comes down to semi-educated guesstimates.

Once in awhile things backfire and I end up selling something at a loss or...worse yet...accept an offer than shipping is more than the item I sold. I ship anyway. It was my screwup and I'm not taking a ding on one sale.
