I'm a buyer on ebay as well as a seller but there are times when I want to wait a while to see if new items have used copies or just a decrease in price. I have been using Saved Search recently and found it to be only partly functional. I had one item with several copies, none down in my prefered price range. The "saved" search returned about 7 hits. I just happened to idly scroll down and was surprised to find other copies that WERE in my price range, so I bought one.
As a buyer this suggests to mean to keep scrolling down. As a seller I wonder if I have items that would qualify for a saved search but can only be found by scrolling down past the number of items ebay claims to be hits.

One can also use a link/button on the results page to sort search results by lowest to highest cost, vice versa, nearest, etc.
If a search returns hundreds, I'll first go to the left & select USA Only, then sort by price. Sometimes I look at nearest as I don't mind paying a little bit extra for items that will arrive faster.
