Hi, anybody else experiencing slower then normal sales the last week, or is it just us?

Slower then normal would be an understatement.

You are not alone. For me, sales for the past week are down 65.7% compared to last year. I sell Christmas items and November is normally my busiest time of year. 

I am not going to blame eBay for my lack of sales. It looks like buyers have just lost interest in my items 😞

I actually have an uptick in sales. Not as many eyes on my stuff but people are still buying.

Views for me are dwindling on all my platforms and margins are skinnier. 

It could be much better, but I am surprised people are still buying musical instruments. 

Hopefully holiday sales will start to kick in soon for all.

You have some interesting and cool items listed. Have you considered doing any lots for those who want to decorate their tree with a bunch. (Excuse the question if you already do)

I have not tried selling large lots yet. I have quite a few small sets (lots) of three ornaments listed and a handful of mixed lots containing odds and ends that were slow movers all year.

Since it looks like I will have a lot of "leftovers" this year, the idea of putting them into lots after the holidays sounds like a good idea! Thanks!

Very slow...and the buyers I got I didn't want...'freight forwards' one to Colombia and one to Kazakhstan.

And a very few cheapie buyers.

And promoting all new items ar 5% and listing new items every day has not helped.

     If you are just referring to eBay sales then my answer would be no, my sales are about average for this time of year by volume. However based on a lot of postings on this forum I am wondering how much of this has been caused by the recent system updates, especially the changes to the messaging system.

I KNEW it!  

That darn messaging system... I suspect it's also partly responsible for a sharp increase in the number of FB marketplace sales I've made the last week.   Almost did as well there as I usually do on eBay.

The last week?  No, how about the last 2 years of a slow steady decline since I abandoned PLS and my BIN listings barely see the light of day.  We're talking 50% down ... 

I still get messages inviting me to use Offsite ads or PLS again.  The ad rates they want on PLS would mean sales are not sustainable for what I sell, we're talking in that 25% range combining FVFs and PLS Ad rates ...

I'm starting to blame ebay's new messaging system on bad things happening in my person life as well.    😉
