Just looking for some feedback on way to get some more sales. I get one to two a day but just looking to get some more traction. Currently I send offers whenever I can which does help. Do you think I'd benefit from better photos using a white poster board? I use the same blanket but I belive maybe a cleaner lighter background would help? Also do you think it would be worth it for a store as I'm picking up business again. I post about 5 items a day but realistically I'd like to move to 7. Do you get better visibility when posting consistently? Thanks for any feedback.

it just depends what you're selling and how many other people are selling the same thing. As far as a store it depends on how many items you have . If you're listing 5000 postcards you would definitely want a store.

You can use white posterboard or backdrop. eBay photo editor has a background removal tool that puts in a white background, it works well with most items.
I use a piece of foam in my plate holder and put it behind my backdrop so that it appears to levitate.
You'll need a store when listing renewals begin to cost more than store rent.

121 listings and showing that you've sold 72 in the last 90 days?
You're probably doing better than most

Your product images are no worse than many other sellers. Yes they could be better.
I do not sell video games but it seems to me that you are doing as well as could be expected with your limited selection of games, and perhaps better than most.
But it seems that you are expending energy on low priced games which are not selling.
Your higher priced listings are where the bulk of your sales are, and if there is a limit to what you have time to list, are where you should concentrate.
Better, more profitable sales are the way you need to grow, not just more sales. But this assumes that you have a source of higher quality merchandise at pricing which makes it worth your effort.
Like many sellers, your current listings seem to be a cut below your past sales. If you are going to hang around for decades, like many of us, you will not do it with low priced, picked over inventory which is common and has many competitive offers.

Think of your business as an investment and diversify your portfolio. You only sell from one genre, video games. Expand and sell shoes or hats or tools; whatever you can find cheap that will turn a profit.

This is great advice. Instead of wasting time with non selling lower value I think I'm going to lot them together for a good price and move them off my hands. Focusing more on higher value higher profit items.

@retroresurrectionnMy advice is to work on your photos - white poster board is a good idea, but really, the biggest problem is that your background is too dark - there's not enough contrast to item v background. Any plain lighter background will work - even just a desk top. Also, try to make your photos more square - those long thin ones with the border cut severely along the item don't always translate well on mobile. Plus, those close borders actually make the item harder to see rather than easier because of, again, contrast.
And yes, daily or nearly daily listing does help with sales - you need to keep feeding the beast as new listings give your other listings a bit of a boost - they work as a cohort.

I sell about 1-3 items a day.
Once in a while 0 items a day.
Once in a while 10 items a day.
I have about 350 items listed.
I hope that helps.

This is great feedback on what I can do immediately to make a difference. I am going to work on this next and see how it effects sales. Thank you!!

Black paper in the background. Want the item to stand out...not the background.
It looks like you are using a blanket or something.
I wouldn't do white.

White works great for us. Used to be Google required white backgrounds or they wouldn't feature your product in the ads there, but that's apparently changed. I don't think we're likely to change anytime soon though, white leads to less distortion of colors IME.
