I have reached out to ebay about sales/views on several occasions. Zero help. Ii was advised to get a store I did no sales increase no more views. I have promoted items per ebay suggestion. No additional sales. It is now costing me more in fees then my sales are. Just saying.

You have to have products buyers want to buy. Keep adding items and in the meantime some of the oddball stuff might sell as well. Household junk is not moving that well these days.
EBay provides a platform to sell on. They won't assist you in selling .

Sorry to hear - seeing a lot of these posts - Your items are nice and have a decent degree of appeal - Seems your prices are actually a bit low - In fact, I would tell you to raise your prices on many of your items by 25% to 40% - This company is looking to make money, so with what appears to be the high degree of search manipulations going on, my guess is other higher priced items are going to be seen before yours to maximize fees per sale.
The downside to doing that, is the prices on this site are getting downright scary in order for sellers to sell and make it worth their time. You see all kinds of people posting here saying "Oh I don't pay for my fees, the buyer does". Oh yeah and how does that work? - You have an item thats worth $20 but you need to list it for $30 to get the fees paid? - Yeah thats a sustainable business model - sarcasm aside, thats only one of many things putting the hurts on this venue.

A store won't help with that - stores have other benefits but they don't boost sales. I'm sorry you were told that.
You're selling in incredibly saturated categories - eBay now has so many sellers and so many listings that it's really, really hard to get visibility, and not as many buyers as they had.
Also, eBay doesn't sell anything save for promotions, so I wouldn't bother with them for selling advice - they'll just give the same scripted answers. There's tons of information online to help you with sales.

Your shipping is rather high. Since eBay takes a cut from item for sale with shipping.. Could raise price of item and lower that shipping rate like low. And maybe more than just a single photo.
Don't understand the free local pick up...You live in a town of like 5000 people...You could be the only person on eBay there buying and selling...Just thoughts.
You list something called "jewelry"...and nothing else on the title or the description. Need a title and description of what item is that is for sale.

You reached out to ebay because your views and sales are slow?
Just curious, what would you expect them to do?
Your views and sales are slow because people are interested in what you are selling. No offense.
If you were selling brand new Playstation 5's for $100 your views and sales would be way up.

Some of your titles and descriptions need worked on.
You have Jewelry as the title and description just says Costume Jewelry.
One listing you have one photo of a bracelet, but in the Item Specifics you have Mixed Lot.

The problem here is eBay attracting more sellers than buyers.

Yes. Exactly.
From a Capitalists point of view, it works like this:
I pay $10 for my widget. It costs me $2 in overhead costs, it cost me $5 to acquire. It costs me $5 to ship it to you. All-in, I am in that unit for $22. I need to sell it for $39.95 or I can't sell it. I won't sell it.
IF I can't sell it for $39.95 then I need to find something that people want to buy - or I need to go get a job.
I am NOT going to sell it for a loss, I will sell it for a fair profit - or I won't sell it.
If I can't make money for my work, I will put my inventory in the landfill.

Two major mistakes. First you listened to eBay and got a store, second you listened to eBay and started using PL. NEVER listed to eBay what they tell you is intended to increase their revenues they don't care about the sellers profit or loss.
If your selling costs are exceeding your revenue it may be time to reconsider whether you want to continue selling, increase your prices or simply clear out your remaining inventory and take the tax loss.

Gotchya and I agree with most of what you wrote - Though the operative word in my post was "WORTH" - You cant expect to sell an item WORTH $20 for $30 plus shipping - Thats one of the problems I see with the site - its full of sellers trying to do exactly that in order to stay afloat - Inflated prices are just one of many things about this venue that are running the buyers off.

What most sellers mean when we have the buyer pay the fees is. The seller should factor in the fees in the selling price. In order to be successful you have to source inventory at prices that allow you to factor in the eBay fees at prices the items are actually selling for and still make a good profit.
Example earlier today I spent $100.00 for items I will be able to sell for at least $500.00. I will rarely spend more than 33% of my selling prices. I also charge my buyers shipping fees.

Purchase a few white poster boards to use as a back drop for your pictures or use a program to eliminate items out of your picture. Difficult to view items on tile, wood flooring, chair...

You have 82 keystrokes FREE for your titles.
Use them all.
The first four words are generally considered to be the most important, because the phone shopper may only see those. (Search sees every word, though.)
If you are selling clothing, always put the size in the title, but make your own measurements and put those in the description.

Titles like "Jewelry" and "Random Misc Stuff" and "Toy Truck" don't cut it, sorry.
When shipping costs more than the item, it's a major turn off. Buyers rather pay $8 free ship, than $3 + $5 S/H.
Fixing those things would be a good start, not taking advice from EBay CS would be another good start...
