My biggest selling category on Ebay is Vinyl LP albums , I was selling on the average maybe 3 a week the sales have basically dried up over the last 3 months , I more or less have been inactive ( side tracked ) with my store for a few months would that be the reason my store traffic has become so slow ?
What recomendations/insight does anyone have ?
Thank you

Inactivity is one possible reason, more competition, your potential buyers have other interests, or maybe your normal customer base is having financial issues due to the economy. All sales niches are reacting differntly to the economic downturn. Just have fair prices, good photos, & eventually things will begin to sell.......however, be patient....money is tight out there!!
Hang tight!! 🙏✌️😎

Back in 2022 after I joined e-bay, my album sales were great. Then they dried up about the middle of 2023. I have combined a lot of albums together hoping it would boost sales. I was wrong. Since late March I have had six orders on other products.
Best of luck to you.

Diversify. I had good album sales during covid after that they dropped off to the point of maybe one a month. What helped me move away from albums was not being able to source them at a reasonable price and having a few problems with buyers. Albums the sounded fine on my turntable weren't sounding fine the some of the buyers turntables so i figured it was time to give up the album sales.

I did a little investigating (see links below) of the overall e-commerce market, but it would also be helpful to know about your particular sales history. Have you experienced any slowing vinyl LP sales in the 2nd quarter before (especially prior to the pandemic surge)? It might offer something to go on when trying to analyze sales patterns.
It is not unusual for there to be an ebb and flow in retail throughout the year, tho i can see how 3 months would be cause for concern in your strongest producing category. In the last three months i count 6 sales for you, with 306 current listings.
Regardless of this, and based on the predictions for vinyl sales, you have chosen your category of items well when looking at sales potential. Examining the overall historical sales for vinyl (since the revitalization of interest), there continues to be strong growth across the board, with the rock genre topping the list. And the forecast is for sustained growth thru 2027 and beyond.
But what to do in the meantime?
With any seller, there is usually some room for improvement, no matter the subject. In your case, i would immediately change 2 things: both your 10-day handling time and your No Returns policy.
Having more customer-friendly terms will get you better placement in Search results, and build confidence in your listings to attract new buyers.
In addition, i would also consider adding some new categories to your offerings to help spur new interest. What kind of traffic and views are you seeing among your current listings?

I changed my return policy , I would like to change the handling time on everything per your recomendations how do change them all at one time ? I must made a mistake and inadvertantly altered the handling time.. I am starting to sell wood for wood working/ crafts and selling wood chunks for barbecue/ smokers , I see a market for that and I have access to wood products here on my farm.
Would take a look at my store and see if you as a customer would see my updated return policy.
