Seems like the drop sales posting has stopped or slowed. Are there lots of sellers experiancing better sales than it has been the previous months?

I was but not today....NO sales yet! I was wondering if I needed to call eBay to find out if there was something wrong....wondering if listings are not being shown. We have maybe 3600 listings so it would be difficult to check! Have also been finding some older items in our bins that are NOT on the site! Don't know how that could happen when I always check the automation rule errors.

I've noticed a huge increase in sales the past two weeks! It's been amazing!

Yeah, because if it happened more than three months ago, the listings are gone. Now I just have to put them back in the photo room! 😞

No sales are still way low. I guess it is just beause. No use in posting slow or no sales. My sales are way down. one way to look at it. Is I will not have to pay e bay the fees.

I am a bit of a “number cruncher” (must be that accounting degree).
In addition to watching the sales dollar amount, I also track the number of sales and the average dollar amount of my sales.
It is obvious that it takes no more effort to ship, for example, a $50.00 item than a $20.00 item. And of course there is a bigger profit on the more expensive items. So over time I have made it a point to bring in new products with a sell price consistently above my average sales amount.
Comparing this year’s months to last year’s matching months, I find that the total NUMBER of sales that I am making have gone down by about 10%. BUT my sales DOLLAR amount is up about 25% year to year. A few higher priced items easily offsets the loss of many lower priced items.
So, yes, “sales” are down but $ALE$ are up.

Ebay has begun to remove old listings if they are over a year old and haven't had a sale in that time. However, I believe they send a message when they do this, to alert the seller.

I'm up 75% over last month. However, half of last month I was on vacation and my store was closed, so I'm actually DOWN. I'm also down 63% over this time last year. That's improved somewhat as I was down over 70% a couple weeks ago. But again, I was on vacation.
I've had a couple good days over the last week that were immediately followed by a number of days with zero sales. I had $700 over two days, followed by three days with a total of $8, then one day over $200, and now going on day 2 with zero sales.
For perspective, last year at this time I was averaging over $200/day, and this was after the slow decline in sales started (June 2017)
I see signs of improvement, but Ebay is still not a prority. I take the time to send out purchases and relist ended items with some changes, but anything else only gets done if I have time. I'm spending most of my business time on other things.

This summer has been the worst I've had with ebay. Wondering if its worth the stress! It used to be fun here.

Nope has not dropped a bit. The clothes sellers still continue a thread almost daily and then there are the regulars.

(This is my posting ID)
Things are looking pretty bleak for me...down almost 75% from last year. Haven't had a sale for over 2 weeks!
I wonder if it has anything to do with not having any listings (and consequently no sales) the whole month of June? I had an unexpected health issue that required a hospital stay, so no listings in June and very minimal listings in July. Got back to normal in August, but sales are pitiful...only 5 sales in July and 2 this entire month and 1 ended up being a return 😞
My average sales were about 1 a day previously (no store, just the 50 free listings plus I seem to always get a monthly promo), so the extreme lack of sales is concerning. I even called CS yesterday (which I try to never do) to ask if there were any issues. Come to think of it, I did receive a message on 8/11 from a prospective customer saying she wanted to purchase an item, but got a message that I was on vacation (which is impossible since I don't have a store) and to contact me when I return so she can buy. I immediately sent a reply thanking her for bringing the situation to my attention because I wasn't on vacation...that she might be experiencing a glitch and to try making the purchase on another browser. No sale, no response after that 😞
The CS agent said everything looked fine from her end, that maybe things are slow due to "back to school" and suggested refreshing my items *sigh*
Hoping that this holiday season brings lots of "green" for all......and praying my drought ends soon!

Things have picked up for me this week but my sales are still below last month's, which were below the month's before and so on. Everything fell apart for me June 1. It's going to take a while to recover but I am happy to see some action this week and I hope it continues.
