Sales drop over last two months

Good Afternoon

We have over the Lst two Months exprienced a LArge sales drop which is continuing and getting worse every day.

Our Listing impressions are done 10% on both minths so essentially down 20% overall in two months.

We have had numerous buyers stating that they are unable to repeat buy more than one item.

The sales and listing impressions are down on all out best selling items. We are a professional hair and beauty supplier so sales stay levelled most of the year until Xmas, however we would historically see a increase from now and are actually decreasing.

Ebay seem to change things regualry which im constatnly having to update, is this having a isse ?

We are ot nieve to think that we wouldnt from time to time have a reduction on sales on certain times throughout the year, however currently the drop is site wide on 100's of our best sellers

Any one help as ebay are useless ?

If this is your selling ID, something must of happened to all your listings.  It says you have 0 items for sale.

Re: Sales drop over last two months

My sales a down with virtually no change in items offered for sale.

No explination for the slump/no sale days shown in the chart.

My sales are not season/holiday/vacation/weather driven.

Yes we list under this name? why would there be no visible listings under the name ?

I'm not sure, but like I originally said and many others are saying, is that we click on your user name and click on see items for sale: IT SHOWS NO ITEMS.

Re: Sales drop over last two months

I also pulled up your store and there are zero listings. I am down 65% and this morning I had a buyer ask me to set up a listing for him with multiple items I did and sent him the item number and it was not there.

@hairandbeautydirect You should look into this. Your items are not showing up. I ended up clicking on your feedback and then on your store, and finding items there, but originally nothing shows up under your name
@Anonymous any help why?

Re: Sales drop over last two months

If you can't see listings, switch your ITEM LOCATION to WORLDWIDE in the sidebar. Then you will see 1095 listings. Seller is in UK.

Re: Sales drop over last two months

Sales are down everywhere, there are the same complaints on Amazon forums.  That being said, I had a solid October, which turned to excellent due to a surge in the last 5 days of the month.

Re: Sales drop over last two months

op is located in the u.k. and i often notice that i cannot see listings from sellers in other countrys for some reason.... most likely one would have to sign on to ebay from the u.k. side in order to see their listings...

Re: Sales drop over last two months

Our sales are down 60% from last year - we are in the same section. In promoted listings, the impressions fell off a cliff from 5,000 to less than 100 per day on Aug. 12, 2018. Things had been declining slowly prior to that, but Aug. 12, 2018, the chart dramatically tanks as if the plug was pulled. We were given various reasons for the decline, but it's clear this is a wide reaching problem.

I have seen similar posts on Amzn saying sales fell during Aug. 2018. I'm seriously wondering if losing Net Neutrality has something to do with it? (Did we lose it? Impossible to keep up anymore!) Is part of the internet choked off? I mean, the drop is dramatic.  We do owe Google money, so that might be it, but if it is, why are we paying eBay for sponsored listings? I feel gaslighted.

Thank God for repeat customers or we would possibly be homeless. I might have to go to work for someone else (horror!) if things don't turn around soon. Business is 16 years old.

Re: Sales drop over last two months

That's what I see, too~! Then, when I click on their store, the listings are there! I know eBay is migrating servers for stores, but this is ridiculous~!

Re: Sales drop over last two months

That shouldn't matter to view the seller's listings from their feedback profile or profile here. Something is badly wrong.
