Sales drop off!

Hi,

Wow! I dont understand. My sales were pretty steady every day. My beginning in July was incredible for me, as a really small store. Things started leveling out, but I was steady with maybe a small sale or two a day. But, all of a sudden nothing. I mean like, nada! I've been reading stuff about the changes, but still dont quite understand. I look at my views, and people are viewing- Its nothing great, but they do view things. I know I may need to change my store-front image etc, but that hasnt actually slowed my sales over the summer and fall. Almost all my items are used. I may have some pictures that need to be re-done but I was selling things over the summer the way it is now so, go figure. Im a top seller, my feedback score is good, but things have just taken a nose dive. I was never looking for this to be a huge thing. It's a good side thing for me, but I am chasing it, and woudl like to see it grow.

Is there any advice out there? Can someone look at my store and tell me something?..anything?

Sales drop off!

You have just described my situation to the Tee!

eBay does (they won't admit it) throttle sellers as they see fit.

The only explanation I have is that they are SO BIG that if they loose a few sellers so what.

I think eBay likes to spread the sales around to try to make as many sellers happy.

This sucks if you've been the chosen one to get your sales yanked from you.

Good Luck...we will need it!

BTW your store looks fine.  Great pictures, a nice selection of items.  Free delivery.  30 Day returns.

Nice job.

Too bad ebay is choking your sales.

Sales drop off!

@blewfire, @namtrag1  Late last Fall on 2 IDs I put every Fixed Priced item up on Promoted Listings for a certain %.  eBay was giving $ 30 FVF credit for Promoted Listings at that time and not sure but it may or may not be a quarterly thing.  Anyway, sales on both IDs were great and above average through 4th quarter but not necessarily on Promoted items, I just thing that helpd to drive folks my way.  Anyway, still going well and I just repeated the same process ... with all the changes coming my hope is to perhaps add more Followers to both IDs in the event the new search they are instituting is a bust ... Follwers at least have interest in checking your items now and then ...

Hope things pick up for both of you ... actually for EVERYBODY!

Best regards,

You had 2 sales on the third - it's not unusal to not make a sale for a couple of days. There are millions of items on this venue - your 350 are a drop in the bucket. I'm sure you'll see sales again later today or tomorrow if people that look for your items are online buying as you do have a nice store and a variety of items.

Sales drop off!

My art sales went off the cliff,I think this whole thing is rigged,my paintings were bringing close to a hundred dollars a week, but not steady, all of a sudden I get one watcher on a few items, which a .99 cent opening bid is too high for people.I'm trying to survive on this,I lost my job and been unemployed for 8 months. Now I'm not a one trick pony, but I've been selling my art since 2005 on ebay.Only certain artists the same ones will do great practically all the time. It's sad,and an uneven playing field.

Your last 90 days sales history shows differently. You average one sale a day with no abnormalities which is better than most Ebay sellers of used items. Not sure of the complaint; my guess is if your sales dropped compared to the previous quarter is that most of the reasonably priced items sold. What is left over has less of a demand. Many of the remaining items are over-priced for what buyers are willing to pay.
