Thank you Stores team. Previously the sale tab featured coupons exclusively.
I'm now seeing the sale tab on accounts that aren't using coupons and it's advertising markdowns and order discounts.
Although ... it's only displaying 5, regardless of how many promotions the store is running. Why only 5? And how is eBay determining which 5?
Take that back - some are showing 5 and some are showing 6 - even though checking the sellers promotions page there are many more promos than that running.

I think @my-cottage-books-and-antiques is the seller that kept asking about this feature? If I got that right, see above. If I tagged the wrong poster, oh well. 🙂

@wastingtime101 thanks, yes I've been asking. Good to know they've expanded beyond just coupons... They said they were going to, but provided inconsistent info about when.

In my store, I see 6 rows of promotional items (I have 12 promotions running currently). The rows seem to show in order of the promotion ending, with promotions ending soonest at the top.

Great info, thanks @mcdougle4248 . 👍

@mcdougle4248 Looks like you have 13 running:
https://www.ebay.com/sme/mcdougle4248/offers.html
That page is why I wondered why ebay said it would be complicated to create the "Sales" tab when that landing page already exists. (granted, the layout is different, but is displays a comprehensive lists of all sales, rather than the 5 or 6 ending soonest.)
I'm not sure why ebay would not provide a comprehensive list with this new feature....perhaps they are still working on that? Or perhaps they are going to issue a new rule that we can only have six sales going at the same time?
devon@ebay , could you look into this for us?

@my-cottage-books-and-antiques
Oops, my error, you are correct I have 13 running (with another going live In a few minutes)...I forgot that I changed the shipping discount back to Promotions instead of the setup done through Shipping preferences using a promotional shipping rule.

One of my stores @mcdougle4248 was showing only 5 promos.
I didn't make the "ending soonest" connection because one of my promotions ending soonest was not displaying. No idea why.
I decided to end the promo that wasn't showing on the sale tab. Not long after I did that, the sale tab started displaying 6 promos, all ending soonest.
The promo that wasn't displaying was scheduled to end in a week, and it was an old promotion, so maybe age had something to do with it?
On what may be a related note, or may be unrelated:
In the Fall I reported that my orders page was not displaying the green text indicating an order stemmed from a markdown (link). Elizabeth reported it but I never heard back and the issue was not fixed for the length of those markdowns.
I did have a theory that perhaps because I tend to use "copy" instead of creating new promos from scratch in order to save time, that maybe old coding was tied to the promos and that could have been causing the error.
I have no facts to confirm that was the cause, just an educated guess based on experience.
I bring it up now only because I wonder if promos not appearing on the sales tab could be a result of the promo itself having an issue as it stemmed from older code. Of course the other possibility is the sale tab itself was experiencing a problem. 🤷

Interesting...I always create new promos from scratch, so I can not compare them as you did with copied promos.
I had a promo end this morning that was showing in the first row. When that promo ended, the row of related photos disappeared, and the remaining rows all moved up one position. The 6th position was then populated with the 6th ending soonest promotion that had not been displayed previously on the new page.
Except for my shipping discount promo, my promos run about 2-4 weeks and I usually have more than 6 running at any given time. My shipping discount goes until Dec 31st. So, the way it looks my poor shipping discount will never make it to displaying on the page until the end of the year the way I have it set now. I am thinking of changing the shipping discount to expire once or twice a month, so it can get some exposure on the new page. I wish we could pin promos to the new page for situations like this.

Here's my feedback on the Sale tab that I'd love passed on to the Stores team devon@ebay . Any chance you could assist with that?
For what it's worth, yes I did use the feedback thumbs up/down on the bottom of the store sale tab, however we cannot upload screenshots through that survey.
For the purposes of this feedback I am using links and screenshots to @mcdougle4248 account since she's posting here with her selling ID. 🙂
Points 1 and 2 are most important to me, and point 3 I can live without. Other sellers will probably have different priorities, for example mcdougle said point 3 is important to her.
1. Because the sale tab is limited to showing only 6 promotions, there should be a link at the bottom to SEE MORE which can take the buyer to the main offers page here:
https://www.ebay.com/sme/mcdougle4248/offers.html
2. On the main offers page (see above link) it shows the seller's title of the promotion. On the store sale tab it does not. I would like the black boxes on the sale tab to display the title of the promotion.
3. On either the manage store page, or the promotions manager page, give sellers the option to pick which promotions are shown and in what order.
Examples: @mcdougle4248 runs a long term shipping promotion that is not shown because it's not ending soon, but it's one of the most relevant promos she wants her buyers to see.
I run long term order discount promos to encourage purchases of multiples. Because they're long-term, they will never appear on the sale page unless I shorten the end date to force it. That's a pain and would also skew my data if I want to measure performance long term but the promo ends early. I don't want to have to babysit it and keep extending the date.
Some sellers list in a lot of categories and might run sales on several categories at once, but would prefer some category sales are at the top of the sale page. They can't do that unless they intentionally manipulate the end date/time to force the order. While do-able, it's a big pain.

Please use the feedback link on the bottom of the sale tab @mcdougle4248 and any other buyer or seller reading this that wants to see this great new feature improved. The developers do review all of the survey feedback. 😁

I already left feedback earlier today (before your post here). I was looking for the arrows to scroll the row of photos like on the similarly designed promo module on the listing pages. Thanks to @valueaddedresource for pointing out the scroll bar underneath the photos. I feel like an idiot for leaving that feedback, but I will use the link again to add new feedback.

I edited my shipping promo yesterday morning to change the end date to March 28th, hoping to have that promo appear on the new store Sale page. That was a no-go. There has been movement of promos ending and new promos populating the page since I edited my shipping promo yesterday, so it does not appear to be a lag issue. The promo displayed in the 6th position ends on April 3rd, so if my shipping promo was to show, it should be above the current promo occupying the 6th position.
Maybe shipping discounts do not qualify to be displayed on the new store Sale page. If that is the case...well that is a bummer 😞

Sounds like it. Will see if I can test and confirm later this week @mcdougle4248 .
It that's the case, I agree it's too bad. Hopefully eBay will add them in the coming months.
