SOLUTION: Avoid the undeserved "1-Star Product Rating" on your listing

After wasting a lot of money creating and ending listings while trying to avoid ebay's 1 Star Rating ,  I think I have found a work-around to get rid of the evil 1 Star Rating,  while still maintaining product identifier's required for ebay-sponsored Google Display Ads for my listings and the 5-Star Google Product Ratings.

I created a new listing with a Valid Brand & Model and a Fictional Part Number.   Finally, my listing didn't have the ebay "1-Star Rating",  instead it had  "be the first to write a review"   and the product review was for my specific Listing-Title,  not the underlying Brand & Model.    Then I modified the listing to include the valid part number.  JOY, the "be the first to write a review"  remained, it did not revert to the the evil 1 Star Rating.   And the listing has the neccesary identifiers for the 5 Star Google Display ad product ratings.

Re: SOLUTION: Avoid the undeserved "1-Star Product Rating" on your listing

Thank You @gps-recovery

Found underperforming item in my buyers account.

Was surprised item was underperforming, usually sell in less than a week, BIN.

Found 1 star rating berating a seller who wasn’t me, sellers id looked like eBay seller but can’t be 100% sure, maybe 90%.

Ended listing.

Sell similar.

Removed part no.

Relisted and 1 star gone.

Tried revising item removing part no., didn’t work.

Revising old thread, important find for me.
