need some help por understanding--i have been se;lling on ebay for 15 years and in the last three years my business has fallen in half------I sell he exact same products on Amazon for 5-10% higher and my amazon business in the same period has grown from nothing to TEN TIMES my ebay volume.

I believe ebay has jerked the search function around to a place where no consumer can find anything they are looking for. I sell more bookends on ebay tha=n all sellers combined. Yet when i search "bookends" my listings do not appear in the first 50 listings even though i am Top rated seller Plus, my best listing has over 7,000 sales and 57 5 star reviews----and it does not appear in search?  the only thing i can think of is we stopped accepting returns   any thoughts?

One immediate factor I noticed in searching just "bookends"...the search defaults to the category "collectibles>decorative collectibles". Yours are listed in "home and garden". If I do take the extra step of selecting "home and garden", your listing is at the top of that page. Maybe consider changing your category to "collectibles>decorative collectibles>bookends". I'm not sure if that would help, just an observation that searching "bookends" automatically defaults to a category your listing is not in.
