It is definately a work-in-progress right now.   Our Store search still reveals incorrect search results as well as the listing titles are partially obscured, pix are wonky.

Hoping they get the myriad of glitches resolved soon!

Re: SEARCH

Yes I'm having to search for some items at my orders page because they won't come up in the store.

On top of that, sales dropped off a cliff again after the new changes a couple weeks ago.

Re: SEARCH

Based on what I see you haven't went into each one of your items and  filled in the "Required" item specifics. You should have gotten an email about this a couple of months ago from eBay. Since you have not done this, eBay has lumped all of your items into the sports cards singles category. How do I know this? Because if I look at your item specifics categories for your store the number of items in your item specifics categories is 0.

If you look at your new store you will now see the item specifics categories listed on the left side. Buyers can now choose the specifics for the item they are looking for to narrow the amount of items returned in the search and the items to be more relevant to what they are looking for.  My suggestion would be to go into each one of your items you have listed and at least fill in the "Required" item specifics. There are also optional item specific categories which are not needed but I would make sure I fill out the ones that are relevant to your items. By updating the item specifics your items will come up in more searches and your page views will increase especially external pages views from search engines Google, Bing, and etc. You can track this in the traffic section of seller hub. The more relevant page views you have the more sales you will get.

Re: SEARCH

You have 933 items. Can you let us know what you think is missing so we can check for you ?

Re: SEARCH

I don't understand why, when I search our own listings for one word in the title, I get a bunch that do not have that word in the darn title.

Buyers probably have it even worse.

(eBay is not the only place to do this. Some of our favorite sites have started doing this recently as well. Though I'm pretty sure it was the RIVER that started all this).

A keyword search will return listings with that keyword in the title or item-specifics. In some cases where a keyword corresponds to a particular category (in eBay's estimation), any listing in that category will be returned as a match, whether the keyword appears in the listing or not.

Re: SEARCH

gothunder-2008,

If I were a potential customer of yours I would not buy anything from you.

In the last 12 months you have called 2 customers liars, 1 scum, and another a cry baby. Doing this doesn't make you look very professional.
