My sales have dropped by 46%.  How about other Ebay Sellers?  Any advise, help, ideas. I have been a seller for 10yrs, never been like this.

Your first two items, I search by new, are heavy winter clothes.

It is June.  If I went into a B&M store and saw that first thing, I would walk out.

Clothes is an oversaturated market as it is, but at least gear them toward the season.

On your health and beauty people need to know what the expiration date is.

collectibles - put your NWOT at the end of title.  First 4 words in a title are important. And get rid of squiggly marks, because if there is no space between that and the first word, they do not come up in search.  Didn't for me.

Just checked those categories but you get the idea.

Yep.  30% every month since January.  75% down from my best month last year.

Perhaps it's due to the market, but with all the changes at Ebay, I can't help thinking they are moving on to a future that doesn't include us, and rather than be upright and honest, they are taking the passive aggressive approach of programming us to the point where we just go away.  That's about to happen with me.  It's to the point where I value the space that my inventory takes up more than the meagre sales Ebay allows me to have.

My sales are higher than ever.

It's only June 4th and considering it's only the 4th day of June, my June activity thus far is showing that I've sold 20 items and made almost $1,000 already.

Can't wait to see how the rest of the month will look for me. I don't invest a lot in any of my items so my profit margins are very high.

I'm not gloating at all, I mainly just want to throw some hope out to people that having good sales is not like chasing a unicorn - it's possible.

I see so many gloomy threads. I worry that me saying that I'm doing well will come off as gloating, but, I just want to be positive and encouraging. It can be done if you work hard. 🙂 Seller of over 15 years here and am happy with how my sales are going. Nearly made 1k in four days selling items I got very cheap from garage sales and thrift stores. Feels nice!

I will say, though, that I try to list 20-30+ new items daily and that boosts sales. It's hard work... but it boosts sales.

Yes my sales have dropped - they do from mid-May to mid-Aug every year.

Total sales for May were comparable to previous years - June is off to a slow start, but it's less than 4 days in.   Most of my June sales will come from my sports/barware account - not this one.

Your point is well made, and wanted to add that if this seller does international, it is winter in the Southern Hemisphere. It is not unheard of to sell bikinis in winter and coats in summer. It’s a global market here.
