SALES DOWN - CHINA?

My sales are dropping so much and I'm going to have to blame it on CHINA selling on EBAY.

Why is this allowed?   When most of us to be honest buy from China in the first place.

Anyone else getting this please?   I feel like China is overtaking the world at the moment, so unfair on us U.K. sellers 😞

Re: SALES DOWN - CHINA?

It's the same here in the U.S. I don't like to shop on Ebay anymore because even if I put US only, I get Chinese junk coming from California. I'm tired of it, too. I sell mostly antiques and collectibles so it doesn't affect me as much as it does others. But, from a buying standpoint, it really stinks! I want to buy from only US sellers.

The problem is that most folks confuse Item Location with the Seller Location. When you set your search on US only or North America, this goes for the Item Location only and not the one of the seller. Hence the scenario: item is in the U.S. but the seller is in China or anywhere else for this matter.

A way around it is to click on the seller's feedback, namely the digits inside the parentheses. This will reveal the true Seller Location.

Everything is always okay in the end,
if it's not, then it's not the end.

It's completely fair...they sell junk, just don't sell the same stuff.

eBay is an international site so I do not understand your bias against another countries sellers?  Would it be fair if eBay just allowed you to seller to UK buyers only?

Good Luck Selling!
