Running a sales event on ebay

Hello,

I just initiated a 15% off sales event on my ebay store to generate more sales . How long does it usually take for the sale to begin ? Also, how does ebay alert potential buyers of my sale event ?

When did you set the sale event to happen? 

Date and time?

No you will not get any notices of potential buyers but you and watch your daily views to see if they increase 

Hard to say if it is because of the sale event or not but can give you some insight

It can take up to 12 hours but usually doesn't.  eBay doesn't notify you're prior buyers of any such things.

If you chose today but didn't change the time then it's usually a few hours later. But you can change the time when you set up the sale to start immediately and it will.

You can send a newsletter to potential buyers and this way inform them about the sale. Ebay gives you an option to send your sale (or other) announcements to previous buyers and followers. You can also send coupons to the same groups.
