I sold an iPad that was in great comdition. Never had a problem with it. Never had an issue with the battery. The buyer says that they hooked it up to a software similiar to what Apple would use. It said the battery was bad/ needs replacing. Do I have them open a return case? Or can I handle it without opening a return case.?

Ebay strongly prefers that you handle that through a case. This is for both your protection and the buyer's, so Ebay is aware of what is happening.
