I need to send a buyer a return shipping label. The instructions say:
Here’s how to send an eBay shipping label from the View return details section:
But when I go to view "return details", send an ebay shipping label appears nowhere. The buyer wants me to use an ebay shipping label, so I need to figure this out.
Anyone have any better instructions? Your help is greatly appreciated.

Was this a sale in the USA? No "freight forward"?

Yes, it was a sale in the US from me directly to the buyer.

Has the buyer started a return request?
I have never had it not be there in the return request?

Don't think I have ever seen "the label" when it asks me to do that. All I am confirming is that my "address" is correct, and I proceed from there.

Buyer needs to do a "Request Return" request......... When you get that, there is a place to either refund without a return or "send a label" for return........

Have you accepted the return?

Actually I think the problem is that the buyer initiated a refund request, not a return request. And I approved the refund.

Okay, I see that the buyer did initiate a return. Instead of waiting to receive the returned item, I issued the refund.
The message from ebay says:
Per eBay's policy, this return has been automatically approved and we've asked the buyer to send the item back.
After the buyer ships the item, we'll share the tracking information with you.
Does this mean that a label has automatically been generated for the buyer? Because when I click on the link in the email that says "see return details", it says The return is closed, and there is nothing on that screen that lets me generate a label.

If you issued the refund, the case is closed and the buyer won't get a shipping label.
If the buyer will return it, you can buy a label somewhere else and send it to them, then hope they use it.
