Return request was not shipped

How do I process cancelling a request to return an item after the time has lapsed?  There is no way to contact ebay to do this.

Return case belongs to your buyer therefore sellers are not allowed to make any changes/cancellations.

Your post suggests that you are the seller and ship by date given to buyer has elapsed and you have not had any notification of dispatch.

You don't need to do any thing including contacting eBay's CS as they will tell you that they have to wait at least 5 working days past the ship by date just in case your buyer has sent the item and not uploaded tracking.

At the expiry of these additional days eBay will automatically close the case without a refund to buyer.

Should the item turn up after case is closed then you are still required to issue a refund which you do through the order.

Buyers, unfortunately, are given a ridiculously long leash when it comes to time allowed to return items.

I had customer service call me this morning. I had a buyer request a return on the 10th. They printed the label but never shipped by the deadline of the 24th. Ebay said due to USPS and Covid they won't close it until two weeks past the deadline date now.  It seems like they keep extending the timelines for buyers.

Have had more than a few eventually close out with neither return nor refund over the years.

IIRC the return label, if unused, cancels out in a few weeks also
