Return labels default to USPS priority, right?

Just double checking. I'll often see rates that are $100 for priority and only maybe $27 for UPS Ground. Is there an option to ship back the same method? Or to provide a return label to the buyer via carrier of your choice? If Ebay is defaulting to USPS priority and that is the only option, could we press Ebay to make a change? I could see some sellers not wanting to pay to get something back via priority and letting a buyer just keep it. Maybe Ebay likes it that way.

Default is your original shipping method.

My understanding (from an exchange with one of the eBay people in a past Weekly Chat) is that the seller will not be charged more for a return than their original outbound postage cost.

I'm not sure how the actual mechanics of that work, but the general idea is that the buyer doesn't get to ding the seller for some higher-priced return method; otherwise every unhappy buyer would be returning their items via Priority Express Overnight.

You can enable the 'Require RMA number' option in return settings. That will give you time to purchase label of your choice from a 3rd party postage provider and send to customer with RMA number.
