Hi! I made a mistake and refunded a buyer before the buyer returned the item to me. eBay has now closed the case and I can't send the buyer a return postage label. Is there a way to send the buyer a return shipping label?

...it's too late now for that part...may be trying to friendly message the buyer to return your item...explain to them you accidentally clicked a wrong button...ask them if they could kindly ship back your merchandise by using the free shipping label you will provide to them...
...praying that the buyer's heart is not...a solid rock...

@larrabee1161 You can create the label and attach it to a message to the buyer. You'll have to convert it into an image file. You can also exchange email addresses since you've been in a transaction and just send them the label in pdf file to their email.

You can also ask the buyer to ship it to you COD. Both UPS and USPS offer this service. You will pay postage when the item gets to you.
Buyer might not want to do it as it is not as easy as slapping a label on a package and dropping in the mail box

Not sure how to create a return label in eBay. But can do it in Pirate Ship pretty easily. Need to talk to their support to enable it though. But they're usually pretty fast at getting back to you.
Can send it as a PDF or send a URL for the label.

I use pirateship and have just downloaded labels as a pdf and sent as an attachment - unless eBay has changed it, you can get your buyer's email address since you've been in a very recent transaction.

You can print a label in Paypal and send it in an envelope but unless there is communication and the buyer is in agreement it's a lost cause.
