Receive an item that does not fit description, so I contacted the Seller to return. They said okay, so I started the process. Ebay sent me a return label at no charge. Does Ebay provide the shipping label with postage at their cost or does Ebay then charge the seller for this return shipping ? Thank you.

Assuming that you filed an item not described case then the seller has to pay for the label. Ebay doesn't pay for return labels they either charge the seller or the buyer. You would only be charged if you selected a reason like you changed your mind or it didn't fit and they had buyer pays returns instead of free returns.

Seller is paying for the return. You don't have any thing to worry about. The reason that I am telling you, what I am telling you, its simple. I am a seller, that have a free return policy. If some one does not like what he/she bought. eBay is going to provide a return shipping label. (Seller is going to pay for return shipping).

If the seller offers Free Returns, then no matter the reason for the return, the seller is paying for the return shipping.
For sellers that have No Return Policy or 30 [or more] days with buyer pays shipping, then if the buyer filed a Buyer's Remorse dispute, the buyer would pay for return shipping.
However some buyers will intentionally file a Not As Described reason for a return so the seller will have to pay return shipping when in fact it was that the buyer changed their mind or it didn't fit, but they didn't use one of those reasons when creating the Request for Return.
I'm glad you and your buyer were able to work things out. That is how it should be.

In your scenario, the return postage label is charged to the seller.

The OP is the buyer. This thread probably should’ve been in the Buying section.

What do you mean ". . . and send the seller the return shipping cost"? You have been sent a return label. Use it. You do not have to send the seller any money. Please read the instructions you've been given here.

Ebay charges the seller. Nothing is free.
