Retracting Offer- invalid number

I was having issues with retracting an offer. I contacted support and they sent me a link to put the item number in to retract my offer. When I entered the item number it told me it was invalid. I double checked and it was the correct item number from the listing. What should I do? I contacted the seller to tell them I am no longer interested. Should I contact support again?

After a period of time before the auction ends you cannot retract a bid....I think.
