Can someone please explain to me why this listing was removed for restricted adult items? There are PLAYBOY AND PENTHOUSE magazines that show WAY MORE on their covers than this COMIC BOOK. Did a HUMAN actually look at the item or did a computer pull the listing because the word NUDE is in the title? And YES I read the policy on restricted adult items and I believe this item should not be restricted. And what really **bleep** me off is I cant appeal or contact ebay about a review. This is typical ebay NO SELLER SUPPORT. I can't talk to anybody who can give me the EXACT reason why my item was pulled. You would think there will be AT LEAST an email address to ask questions about the pulled listing on the message I received NO,NOTHING,NATA I cant respond at all. Sellers MAKE MONEY for ebay. Without sellers there would be NO ebay. And for the high seller fees ebay charges you would think sellers could contact ebay easily with concerns such as this one. Sellers are getting tired of paying high fees with no support from ebay. You are NOT the only game in town ebay.

Here's a link that may be helpful. PS Just because others are listing similar items, doesn't make it ok. Those sellers just haven't been caught...yet.

It's by key words they flagged in your listing. The reps know nothing of the item or the rules. They too just go by the " offending " words and say it's not allowed.

You agreed that eBay gets to decide what you can list, regardless of what the written policy says:
"we reserve the right to refuse, modify, or terminate all or part of our Services to anyone for any reason at our discretion."
Sellers are getting tired of paying high fees with no support from ebay. You are NOT the only game in town ebay.
It sounds like you have an alternative then.

I had the same issue with another comic book showing less than yours. It was reported probably by the competition . You should be careful now because once flagged they will keep an eye in your listings

Hard to say what the root cause was for the removal but it is things like this that have forced me to move a lot of my items to other platforms and venues. Between an ever expanding list of prohibited and restricted items as well as the VERO program I had little choice. When it comes to offensive it's all a matter of personal perception what is offensive to one person is art to another.

Adult magazines, books and comics that contain nudity are allowed only if they don't contain sexual activity and if no images of nudity are showing in the listing
eBay defines nudity as showing any part of male or female genitalia, anus, or female breasts where the areola or nipple is visible.

Maybe you listed in the wrong category?
A little 'peek-a-boo' on her right breast is going to get your listing image classified as an exposed nipple. Other listings in the graphic category have them "censored" with the silly little yellow post it tabs for similar listing pictures. Makes me think we are stuck in the 50's with our prudish views on art (I love Vampirella and Vargas)

You have to wonder how that is more "offensive" than those basically soft porn anime figures.

Like all items that eBay restricts or prohibits, the policy on so-called "adult" material is unclear and includes the handy eraser language, "includes but is not limited to..."
Like all eBay policies, enforcement is more or less random, done mostly with primitive bots and bots driven by primitive AI. That means that some perfectly innocent and legitimate items get pulled, while others in egregious violation of eBay policies remain untouched. And we see complaints here every day, from sellers in every category, to that effect.
With 1,500,000,000 listings on any given day, that is the only means of enforcement because it is impossible to have human review of that much material.
All I can tell you is this: You are now on the bot-radar and your listings will be scanned for further violations. If any more are found, you risk permanent suspension of your selling account. I advise you to find another place to sell such items as have been removed.
Not fair. Not right. But the reality.

and there are many things that are passing as "art" that should be more limited in search viewing.
Have seen where the seller makes claim in the description that it is "art and therefore allowed", but clearly just soft porn. the 46 DD's art not there for "art"

"art" was the wrong choice of words for what I was describing.....
sorry for the inference....

I have also had troubles with listings taken down, in this instance I would relist the item but cover up the buttcrack with a piece of paper or something
In one case I had a children's video game called "Cars eBook", and it was flagged for being a digital item, but it was just an actual game called an eBook. Truly I could not get any support to comprehend why my item should be allowed. In my case I just listed it again and called it just a book. In your case I'd list again and cover up the nudity.
Good luck!

If Andy Warhol or Ansel Adams took a photo like this it'd be considered "art"
If Vargas or Nagel drew/painted it it'd be considered "art"
In fact here is a Nagel more explicit than the comic book cover, no coverup or anything, found it in search in five seconds:

not what I was referencing.
I'm talking eBay listings with ladies posed showing all their charms, and passing it off as "art". YMMV
