I sell mostly electronics that I purchase directly from Walmart & target liquidation centers.
The issue is that I was just flagged for Apple cables with the accusation that they are fakes. These are from target & Walmart. I have also had a Just Wireless 3ft TPU Lightning to USB-A Cable & Tune 205BT Wireless Bluetooth Earbud also flagged as fake. Basically random items.
I have sold iPhones & iwatches without an issue but an Apple cable & other little things are being flagged as fake. Does not make sense.
Called eBay & they recommend taking pictures of the receipt showing the item purchased and posting along side the item. Problem is I don’t get receipts. I get invoices and the items are usually in an excel file. Plus they can’t do anything about the 3 day restriction.
Since my stuff are not fake, it’s hard for me to be like oh, I’ll just not list this cos I have no idea what they will decide to flag as fake.
Does anyone else have experience with this? The next restriction will be 7 days & possible account deactivation.
At least on Facebook marketplace, you can appeal a case and show proof and things are resolved immediately.
This cannot be the way to do business.

Looks like you are more interested in being right as opposed to coming up with a solution.
There is no solution, we can only offer advice in cases like this and the advice to not relist is solid.
Steer clear of all things Apple and Sony in particular.

@deracollections Are all of the items being taken down Apple products? I do know that Apple exerts a lot of restriction over reselling their products, including requiring reseller licenses, but it seems odd that it's so scattershot in this case.
If they're not all Apple products, then I'm at a loss. I don't see switches being done with sealed, unopened products - it's something else.
If it seems to be a certain class of product you could try selling them elsewhere and keep everything else going here.
Will eBay take the manifest, even if it's on a spreadsheet?
Sorry, trying to think of ways to deal with this - I resell some tech, too, but mine is all old stuff. I had two listings taken down for selling Dr. Dre Beats, though.

There is nothing about relisting in original post.

There's always the possibility that you're competing with one of eBay's preferred sellers and they had you shut down. It's getting hard to believe anything eBay CST tells you as you'll get a different reason from each one you talk to. Not saying it's definite, but definitely, something to consider...

They have been so many random items.
I have listed & sold iPhones and iwatches without issues. They only flagged 1 Apple cable and other items.

Hi, sorry this happened to you. If you post the message you received from eBay regarding the removals, this can help us in the community. Sometimes seeing the exact wording reveals clues as to eBay’s reasoning. (Were either of these removals Vero?)

The term ?lightning? is trademarked by Apple and can only be used to describe products manufactured by Apple or products officially licensed by Apple (MFi-Certified). Generic, unbranded or items not officially licensed by Apple cannot use the term ?lightning?. Items officially licensed by Apple must have ?MFi-Certified? in the title when using the term ?lightning?. Items manufactured by Apple must use the Brand item specific and fill in ?Apple? for the brand.
Items removed for this policy cannot be relisted. Please ensure that your future listings are for authentic items only. For these items, they should be described accurately and completely, so buyers know that it is an authentic item.

i agree with this ALL, whole heartedly! Ive been flagged for the SAME issues, with no HELP WHATSOEVER. This CANT be the way ebay does things, can it!? APPARENTLY SO.... smh

i always list as open box even if its new because of aquiring them via returns, and i STILL have this issue, and im scared to list other things for fear that account will be suspended or worse. Im starting a website to help move my products now, more work less hassle.

I also sell mostly electronic retro games they flag most of my item specifically apple products i am currently on a 3 day restriction i dont know the reason and also don’t know what to sell and what not to sell anymore sometimes they flag the same item and sometimes they let it be and all my products are not fake i dropship most of my products and the others i ship from home it’s really hard to work with ebay if you gonna specify selling electronics it took me 3 months to take my store to the state it’s currently at and it will be hard to start from scratch on another store just because ebay like to restrict your account for no good reason
