Hi everyone,

I have some problems with my account. Here is the story.
My friends and I wanted to do business on Ebay, but instead of creating a new account, we acctually use one of our existed account which does have good feedbacks. That is why I put my SSN on the account to sell stuffs on Ebay. It had been very good for a few months. Then one day, one of my friends wanted to separate with our group; also, he is the one who owns the account that being used for this busniess. But, he accidentally used the email that created this account to open another account to do his stuffs. As a consequence, Ebay has restricted the account for safety. From now on, I cannot create any other accounts to do my business simply because my SSN has been blocked by Ebay due to the situation I explained above. I've been tried using another account with different bank card, but they still blocked my new account.

My solution right now is to create another account with a different SSN, but my questions is that if I put on a same shipping and returning address on this new account, will this new account be restricted by using same shipping and returning address? Please help me out. I've been stucked on this for months, and there is no way I can reopen my business due to this circumstance.

I am sorry to say you are done on eBay. Any account you open will be linked to the problem account, and then shut down. If you persist in opening new accounts to circumvent the block, you will bury yourself deeper. It is against the rules to attempt to open new accounts once you have been restricted.

Seems you have more accounts than you have e-mail addresses. But you need to discuss with eBay tell you how to unravel your situation - if you can?. Never get involved with other folks on your private business - things most usally get messed up along the way.

Think having another SSN would cause you more issues than you think just to sell some "stuffs". But what do I know only had the same SSN for over 61 years.

Like u said, if my ssn has been blocked like this, all of my family members who live in the same address cannot do business on Ebay forever? This is so sad.

It is actually not as sad as you are saying it is. If Ebay allowed people who got their accounts cutoff to restart using another family member or friend then anyone could easily just turn it back on. It would void the purpose of the block. Sorry you fell into a trap and have all those accounts within you household but unfortunately you are done with Ebay.
