Rest of Month OFF since no sales to speak of

Well, that was an exercise in futility I guess.  Listed 100 items and got 4 bids.  IT is Slllllloooooooowwwwww.  Well I've used up my freebies and when it's this slow I'm not likely to pay to play.  So,  We'll see you all next month and home life is better.  Have a great day.

Your crystal items are beautiful but unfortunately today's buyer just does not seem interested as us older people did.  My mother had a curio cabinet full of treasures that I cannot give away to my own children.

I think he/she sell a little more than just crystal.  I guess it can't be the slow down that many other posters are talking about?

Like most posters here, I only list when I have free listings because I like to make a little profit for myself.  I know, I'm funny that way!

Wouldn't it be wonderful if eBay took a peek at our messages, felt a little compassion and decided to give us all 1,000 free listings? - okay 500 free listings??  maybe 100 free listings???   No need to go to the bother of random selection - just give us all a  bonus on June 21st - first day of summer!

61 of the first 62 items in his non sold list are what I refer to as curio cabinet collectibles.

Listing auction style is not really the way to go anymore, unless it is a rather rare, highly sought after item.

Maybe next month when you decide to list again, try Buy It Now instead?  You may have better results.

REALLY?  LOL  You actually went and counted my unsold items and evaluated what they are?  ROFLMAO.    I am NEVER FOR A LOSS OF AMAZEMENT OF JUST HOW FAR someone will go to prove a point.    Does it really matter?  I was just making a statement and NOT looking for  any help.  I've been selling here since almost day one using one moniker or another and times have changed as eBay has changed.  I like selling my collections off and it has to be done one way or another.   ITS NOT what I'm selling....its JUST SALES ON ANTIQUES are indeed slow right now.  I have some ebay friends yell at me from time to time to ID something for them or just yack.  That is why I posted in the first place because I don't intend to be here at all now that I've used all my free listings.    The nice person that said I should use Buy IT Now may be absolutelyh correct but I prefer the auction format.  The nice person that said you can't give young people antiques is unfortunately right , but there are still a ton of collectors out there and usually my sales are more than adequate.    I'll be back in JULY to list my 50 freebies and if I sell great I'll list more.  If not, well then it will be another short month.  Love ya all, and thanks for the notes.  I do appreciate them.  This wasn't intended to be a rant agaist anything including the staff of  eBay;  it was just a note to say HEY I'm done for the month due to low sales.  That pretty much says it.  I don't think I need to change anything but time will tell.  Some months are always better than others and you don't change horses just because he may be a bit slower than he once was.  It's all good for me.

Your just one of the many that are posting about the same is now. eBay has to be taking a huge hit in the wallet lately.

I totally understand. Have a good rest. Doesn't matter if you sell zip ties. Summer or not - sales are in the tank.

This was not in response to you but to someone else who stated you also sell other items.

As far as counting the items on 2 pages - 25 per page and a quick scroll.  Not as involved as you may think.  Besides as I said in my previous post, I liked your items so kept looking.

When you list 100 items, all over priced for auction format and only sale 4, it sounds to me like you DO need help. Those items are not in high demand "at those prices".  You need to either list them BIN and let them sit for months, or start the prices "at reasonable" prices to attract bidders. Buyers are smarter than you think and NO ONE is going to place an auction bid at the price they can BIN.

Because she is doing the same thing as you and thus not getting buyers. Yes, those who do not list correctly "to attract buyers", will post threads like these.

Over-priced? LOL I can't comment without offending you. I NORMALLY sell quite well thankyouverymuch. You obviously aren't in touch with the antique market or you would know my prices are really good. The worst thing for driving prices up is the shipping add ons, but this is NOT just me there are HUNDREDS of people saying the same thing I am.
