Was so excited thought I had my first sale and found out the potential buyer wants more pictures sent to their email outside of the site. I know this is a scam as there is no reason to do that. Everything should be handled directly on the site. How do I block this person or report them or is there a way for EBay to verify. I did not send them anything or reply and I have no intention of doing so.

Sorry for your situation, but good for you that you spotted right away this was a scam attempt. So many new sellers aren't so quick to notice and it cost them dearly. Here's how you block a buyer...

One more thing if I may...you may want to consider removing the "best offer" feature. Those will attract scammers just as much as using an auction style listing. Price your items on what you would accept and hopefully the scammers will fly away.
Cute Dolce boots!
Have a great day.

Truthfully there's no way to verify them because they can buy as a guest and they can make an account with a fake name and hijack an account. If eBay boots them they'll just pop up on a new account like a whack-a-mole.
Savvy sellers recognize scam attempts or the potential. Price the items buy now immediate payment required.

A scammer with a boot fetish. Not your typical MacBook thief.

What I do is upload the pictures to my listings. Then I send send a message through ebay and let the person that asked that they are uploaded for them to see.
I don’t respond to private email accounts.
The Rats won.
