Request a Call?

This icon popped up.

Didn't need any help.

Don't see it now or how to receive it again.

And who has used it?

Is this the same customer service or something 'new and improved'?

Just curious...Request a call.JPG

Re: Request a Call?

I Have Never Seen that Pop Up Message Before..Ever.. I Would Worry About Using It.

There are Various Fraudulent eBay Phone Numbers that Come Up

on the Internet..None are Reliable or Actually From eBay. Use the Help and Contact

Selection to Get You to the Real eBay Customer Service. Ask For an Agent You Can Speak to.

Re: Request a Call?

I saw that the other day too.

I also did not need help.

I wondered the same things you are.

Re: Request a Call?

you betcha

I have seen it as well.

Just eBay trying to make it easier, but would likely be the same "off-shore" help that one would get by drilling down in the "contact us" flow

Re: Request a Call?

It's probably something new to improve the website. Probably tired of hearing all the complaints about getting a hold of them especially when sellers are paying them fees and store subscriptions but having a difficult time getting a hold of them. Even with buyers needing help with things.

Re: Request a Call?

@12345jamesstamps  similar pop ups have been reported being seen on different eBay pages for a few months now.

There's been some speculation it may be part of eBay's plans to use AI voice chatbots for customer service, which eBay execs have talked about but I'm not sure how far they've gone in implementing it.
