Reply with an offer issues!!

Hello all,

I've just tried to use the "reply with an offer" option but it does not appear to be working.  When trying to use it I get navigated to my eBay messages page rather than being able to send out an offer.  Has anybody else encountered this issue? 

It just feels like that this is yet another problem on eBay when trying to sell.  The past 6 months or so have been beyond a joke with all the changes to buyer/seller contact, difficulties accepting offers, difficulties for potential customers trying to send offer, etc, etc, etc .

you have tried it on a different browser? sometimes need to clear cache or removed any new plugin installed on browser.

On what page are you sitting when you try the "Reply with an offer" option? It should take you to your Messages page, as you said, and you should see a "Send Offer" button at the top of the message space: 

I think that button only appears for the first reply of the conversation thread, not if multiple messages have been received.

I don't do 'offers' on my items.

I have had potential buyers ask a question about something and the 'reply with an offer' shows up from the buyer where the buyer is only asking a question. My guess is anyone asking just a question to seller an automatic offer comes with the question.

The "reply with offer" will only appear if eligible, too.   For example, if this buyer received an offer on the item, but let it pass, and then contacted you with an offer in messages, you will not see the button to "reply with offer", unless the listing does have "best offer" turned on.    If you don't have best offers turned on, and you have sent offers out, you need to also wait for those offers to expire before you can edit the listing to turn on "best offers".
