I listed a Dr Seuss book the other day and within a couple of hours ebay removed it for not following their policy. There have been over 900 of this very same book sold and over 100 still listed. Mine was removed!!! When I called I was told that sometimes they remove listings in blocks. I found this very unfair and lost out on several hundred dollars if sale. I am not allowed to relist the book either. Really no explanation just they are sorry.

I agree. If they remove some, need to remove them all.

Things are changing in this country..for better or for worse, just depends on your point of view. Im sure the rest of those books will be removed too.

Ebay has lost me, and I have 1700 positive feedbacks and no negatives. Ebay has gotten ridiculous, just like Facebook and others.

Six of Dr. Seuss's books have been identified as problematic by the managers of the author's publications. Dr. Seuss Enterprises has decided those books were inappropriate for today's more inclusive, more tolerant, less insulting, hurtful, denigrating society. Dr. Seuss Enterprises has made the decision to cease the publication, licensing and sales of those books.
Their statement:
Today, on Dr. Seuss’s Birthday, Dr. Seuss Enterprises celebrates reading and also our mission of supporting all children and families with messages of hope, inspiration, inclusion, and friendship.
We are committed to action. To that end, Dr. Seuss Enterprises, working with a panel of experts, including educators, reviewed our catalog of titles and made the decision last year to cease publication and licensing of the following titles: And to Think That I Saw It on Mulberry Street, If I Ran the Zoo, McElligot’s Pool, On Beyond Zebra!, Scrambled Eggs Super!, and The Cat’s Quizzer. These books portray people in ways that are hurtful and wrong."
Ceasing sales of these books is only part of our commitment and our broader plan to ensure Dr. Seuss Enterprises’s catalog represents and supports all communities and families.

You received all of your 1700 positive feedback ratings as a buyer. Buyers cannot receive negative feedback. All buyers have 100% positive feedback, whether it's 1 or 1 million, and no negatives.

Wait for it. They will cancel Donald Duck because he's not wearing pants!

They just started removing the listings, so the others will be removed soon.

Don't give them any ideas. 😀
It wouldn't surprise me if they did.

I'm not convinced that ebay will remove all the books. Look at their track record...it's not good when it comes to evenly enforcing their rules among members.
They will remove some, maybe half to begin with...then a few weeks will go by and ebay will forget all about it...
