Remember the Good Ol' Days (before eBay changed the Seller's Page, that is)?

When I was just a young lad of 73 years of age last week, I could open up my Seller's Page on My eBay,  and instantly see the number of items that I had sold during the month, and how much money in sales I had made during that month, and how many items I had listed for the month, and how many more items that were available for me to list that month.

But not any more.  (Sigh.)

I realize that I might just be a little old fashioned that way -- but isn't it just elementary business practices to keep track of your inventory and sales on a monthly basis?

Guess I'll just have to go back to the old pen-and-paper system that we used, pre-computer, back in the Stone Age.

Boy, this sure makes Managed Payments an even BIGGER headache now!

Remind me again -- WHO is this supposed to be helping?!?

I think ebay has a bunch of inexperienced rookies running the show who feel they have to make changes to make them feel important. How else can anybody explain these absurd changes? Nothing makes sense. This is 2021, not 1990. Things are supposed to be made easier, not more difficult. I haven't listed anything for sale this week. Because I don't want to. Disgusted.

So true.

This is what happens when there's no leadership and no one's in charge....ever try speaking to an ebay supervisor?. It's like they just hand the phone off to a passing janitor posing as a supervisor just to placate you.

It's hard to teach a old dog new stupid tricks.

Everyone:

We are NOT complaining about the seller's HUB.

We ARE complaining about the NEW seller's PAGE.

The seller's HUB and the seller's PAGE are two COMPLETELY DIFFERENT THINGS.  One has NOTHING to do with the other.

The sellers PAGE  is the one that they just changed.  The one that everyone liked b/c it had everything on one page...that is the sellers PAGE.

Some others personally likes the seller's HUB (b/c they are crazy...JUST KIDDING)...to each their own.

We just want our all selling PAGE to be as easy and concise as the old page was.  We want everything to be on one page as it was before.  Active/sold/unsold/drafts/paid for (or not) shipped (or not) feedback left (or not) ALL ON ONE PAGE.

We should not be having 2 wars here...we should not be fighting with the seller's HUB people because that is not what we are angry about...we are angry about the NEW seller's PAGE that they just changed on us.

...of course the seller's HUB people need to understand that there was a seller's PAGE - something completely different than what they are using.

...Okay....???

Sellers PAGE people here:                                                                                             Seller's HUB people here:

(this need to be changed)                                                                                              (this is okay the way it is)

IT REALLY NEEDS TO BE FIXED!

Two separate groups that are using different formats and that is OKAY...

Stop waging war with each other.

Geez Louise...

Thank you all for your understanding.

ebay forcing closet cleanout sellers to go to managed payments is ridiculous.  It's time for a company with integrity to take them over. ebay's time has unfortunately come and gone.  I'll never sell here again. They also remove negative feedback from their top sellers EVERY SINGLE WEEK while leaving negative feedback for the littles guys when it's not warranted. Hence...their buyer protection is a JOKE. Don't believe me, message me and i'll tell you the account to watch & you'll see for yourself.

It seems like eBay has hired Louis DeJoy to run things, to destroy it on purpose like he did the US Postal Service.

If it works eBay will change it and charge the sellers more in fees.

I've reached that age where my brain goes from "you probably shouldn't say that." To "what the heck, let's see what happens. "

You ask, WHO is this supposed to be helping?!?

The answer my friend is eBay of course.  Just by their actions and changes, the 'powers that be' at eBay could care less about making the seller's life better. It's ALL about the Benjamins, and sellers, especially the small mom and pop ones are EXPENDABLE, a dime a dozen to them. I even think they want to get rid of the small time sellers by making their life more difficult and miserable, so they will quit selling.

I believe the POWERS that BE at eBay are listening and hearing all the rants, raves, and displeasure... their reaction are probably this:

Sellers are Buyers and Buyers are Sellers.  And they are so frustrated with the changes they have lost the will to shop!

Bring back Classic My Ebay that worked for 18 years!
