Fixed price listings may not renew if they don't have all the required item specifics filled out.
Auctions that "automatically relist up to 8 times" is a feature available exclusively to new/casual sellers. If your listings were auctions and your sales increased so eBay no longer sees you as a new/casual seller then that option will no longer be available to you.
