Relisted a few items yesterday and they all have around 400 views?

Yesterday I relisted a few items (listed with sell similar but not sure it matters in this case) and they all have 400 to 420 views with 0 watchers.  There is nothing overly special about these items (kids clothing) so I’m wondering why or how they could possibly have this many views.  I have had these same items listed and they got a normal amount of views so something seems off.  Anybody see this happening or have any idea why the view count would be messed up?

Me too! Not hundreds of views like you, but easily 10-15 times as normal. I relisted a group, and each one had at least 6 views in the time it took me to list the next one. Now THAT, I've NEVER seen happen. Then I've had 5 sales this month, and it's only the 10th? I might not even have to worry about GTC listings over 50 if this keeps up 😄 Ha, as if. But if by listing items as GTC gives it a boost, or more views, or whatever, I'm ok with it so far!

Bogus view counts.  I have several accounts and one, ironically the least viewable, always has these inflated counts, but terrible sales numbers.  I can't tell you why your view counts are high,  but I can tell you they're most likely bogus.

Well either way, I sold some stuff, so it's all good with me.

We use sell similar also and found that those listings are retaining the view counts from prior active times. More busy work for us to determine if our listings are getting views.

One of my IDs had a Scooby Doo mug up for auction. Just a normal run of the mill mug which garnered 456 views by the time it ended.

Next cycle it got 1 LOL

No rhyme or reason I can see
