Registering as Business seller

Hey everyone,

I am from Pakistan and I have my business LLC registered in Unites states i want to create eBay business account but when I am trying to create it asking me for SSN as I am not Us resident how could I provide .

please help .

As a US registered business you should be able to use your EIN (issued by the IRS) instead of your SSN.

To obtain an EIN or ITIN I believe you need a SSN first, or be a resident.  

According to the IRS instructions for Form SS-4: “If you have NO legal residence, principal place of business, or principal office or agency in the U.S. or U.S. possessions, you may call 267-941-1099 (not a toll-free number), 6:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. (Eastern Time), Monday through Friday, to obtain an EIN.”

You do not need an SSN (Social Security Number) to get an EIN.
