Refund started in error due to technical difficulties Power surge ) eBAYS sUPPORT

Hello,

I am compelled to post this probloem occurred with a seller and Ebays stand on the outcome.

I have been a member for 17 years ..I am a top rate seller and have supported e bays for all these years. RecentlyI sold a purse note listing no. (182694220580.plz see photos and decriptionjs.buyer received then declared it is damaged ...then her reasoning is she declared the bag to be unattractive.not damaged.and she then to post statement that she choose to falsely plagerize ..to make her statement less nebulous..I explained to the buyer that i do not offer refunds and if the purse was damaged to please send me a photo...and I would then consider a refund .noresponse..I was writing a return and we had a power surge my computer screen was flashing I tried to just used the mouse to hit the screen to make it stop and realized i needed to shut it down..when I brought back the screen it showed I had approved a refund ..which I never had..I immediately contacted ebay ( after 40 minute weight and spoke to a rep in resolution center..who stated for me not to worry we see the buyer is having buyers remorse..well after several asdditioncal calls and speaking to supve JOnalyn in the again after a 45 minute wwait ( and 4 other reps..) she simply stated * we cannot reverse and you need to refund her..she was curt and would not allow me to explain....Now I stand with  Ebay position to back there sellers ..its obvious I do not offer returns and I stated that clearly to buyer,,who replied I will do everything in my power to get a refund..To stop the harassment over a20.00 transaction.i sent her a refund of 7.25 and advised she could keep the purse..now she had opened c ase for the full amount..Ebay do you not care about your sellers..or an act of god..I am 70- yr opld woman who depends on the income from this store to live ..I am ethical and professional please review all conversations.I reported the buyer prior to taking any action with e bay..and now yopu plan on refunding the money from my accoutn the full amount ..that is ridiculous..at this point I question do I want to contiue to use a venue and SUpport team That do not stand behind their sellers..I ask you to review this case ..

Wait, you already gave her a partial, and now she opened a case for a full refund? Id be calling ebay back based on those two facts alone, and keep calling till I got a rep with a brain to look at the case

I love the story, I don't believe it for a minute, but I love the the way you thought this whole thing out. Just admit you accidentally clicked refund (a lot of sellers do).

Oh well, the bottom line is the buyer opened a SNAD case on this $15 item and they know you only have 2 choices, refund in full and let them keep the purse or refund once the returned purse is delivered back to you (with you paying return shipping). There is a third choice, a partial but its nonbinding for both parties, sellers rarely use it and buyers rarely take it (if its truly SNAD). That buyer knew you would be out almost $20 with original shipping and return shipping and was most likely fishing for a partial.

The case is closed, there is nothing more to do but get a UPS.  😉

Oh, yes, Remember Rule #1

EBAY CS Rep's lie.

End your misery.

Give her the remaining $13.

No more battle. Move on with your life.

Not much consolation, I'm afraid, and I know you are upset, OP, but if you have sold for 17 years and this is your first issue, you have had a great run.  Try to see it as a minor bump in the road.  I know it's the principle of the thing, but don't make yourself sick over it.

Sorry this happened to you; remember, what goes around, comes around.  Karma may yet visit the buyer.
