I sold an item to a sweet buyer, and after a nice conversation, I decided to give him a partial refund. We messaged and he is quite happy with the offer. So I go to the refund entry and put in the amount and come to the refund source which only gave me ebay funds ($0 right now), or a credit card. I have no CC on file with ebay. I do have a bank account with a substantial balance registered with ebay, but that does not show up. Have no idea why I cant use it as it is registered for both payouts and ebay fees.
Now comes the fun. I have tried numerous attempts to get a hold of ebay. the phone numbers I found go nowhere. No way to email. Left a message on their Facebook messenger and reply said they'd respond shortly (never did). Lastly went to their AI bot and got set up twice for a callback, none happened. But I got two **bleep** emails saying all sort of stuff why they cant reach me. Hogwash!.
How do you get to a real human nowadays? Their help files dont help. TIA!

Your bank routing checking account number should also have a debit credit card number...these are the two that you usually use....not credit cards.

I notice when I give a refund the money comes out of my eBay profits. If I give a refund right after my pay out and don't have any eBay money just then, the refund goes on my credit card. It never comes out of my bank account. Never.

That'll learn ya not to give refunds when you don't absolutely have to.
