Hello,

This is very bad selling experience on eBay. I need some advise here, and thank you for all of your help in advance.

I follow everyone suggestion to intercept the package and denied the return request wile the package return to me.

Because I denied the return the request so I contact the buyer to ask him if he can reopen the request so maybe I can accept the return and refund it correctly.

However, he told me he cannot, next thing I saw was an email treating me if I didn't refund, he will take legal action. Which is fine to me, I'm going to refund him anyway. Few minutes later, he sent the request via PayPal for rest of balance. what he told me he spoke to eBay and PayPal, and that's the correct way to do. Need answer him within 10 minutes.

I didn't accept the money request , cancel it, and refund it via original transition. Looks like I did it correct, if I accept his request, I may end up to refund him again.

Did I do the thing right? Do I still need to pay the fee to eBay? that's about $140 fee.

Also, can I report this buyer?

Did you get the package returned, or it still enroute ? If you now have it back, refund through the eBay transaction. You are right, since eBay has separated from PayPal, eBay may not see a Paypal transaction. Give Paypal only the tracking number.

Also, you can show buyer requested cancellation as the reason. You will be out the Paypal fees and your postage/redirect fees, but that is a small price to pay.

I did get the package back. that's why I contact the buyer to refund him. I just cannot believe he can send the money request, if I accept and pay. I may end up pay him back.
