I need to refund a customer 80 dollars..i have 79 usd on my paypal(ebay connected)..BUT i have Norwegian kroner on my paypal account(i am Norwegian).The problem is how to convert this money on paypal to usd?I have asked paypal,no reply yet.The customer is waiting..This is also my first refund,so it isnt obvious to me how this is supposed to work.And i am new..there is a learning curve,,yes:)
Is there any other way to refund a customer?I dont know when i will have my next sale and thus usd on my paypal-ebay connection again.The customer needs refund now.

I have no idea since the conversion rates change: it will have to be taken up with PP on how to do such.
Oh and this is the United States Site; the UK might be able to help you on such.

Hi, are you saying you need $1 USD more to refund the buyer? You can manage a transfer on PayPal between currency balances in your account. Below is a link on how to do that. Scroll down the page to see the heading Transfer Amounts Between Currency Balances. The main heading it’s under is Handle Multiple Currencies. (Hope i am understanding your need here.)

When I started selling ten years ago I dropped $500 into my PayPal account so I didn't have to think about things like this. Never looked back.

I would have customer open "return request". That way EBAY has record that you "refunded money" . EBAY should be setup to make monetary conversion.
