Hello,
I have been having issues with a buyer who gave the wrong address for their package, and has been insisting on a full refund for everything, including shipping. I agreed to refund them the cost of the item as long as it was returned to me. They refused to pickup the package from Fedex, and kept requesting a full refund. They ended up opening a case against me and have been messaging everyday asking for a refund. Fedex ended up returning the package to us after the buyer refused to pick it up for several weeks. So while we have the package, the buyer never actually submitted a return case. I am willing to give them a partial refund, but the case that is opened against me seems to want me to provide a full refund, and doesn't give me any other options. I messaged eBay, but their response was a bit confusing. Is there a way for me to give the buyer a partial refund and close this case? Or do I have to wait for eBay to resolve the matter and hope they don't force me to give a full refund?

If the reason for the package not being delivered or picked up was because of an incorect address, that is the BUYERS fault, not yours. You should not be out the shipping. Hopefully ebay will see it that was too. I would refund the buyer eveything LESS shipping. It shows good faith on your part. If your buyer want to dispute that with ebay, let them.
Good luck and stay safe!
