Recurring Payment and discrepancies between selling price and payout

I had made a comment regarding a problem with a payout not seeming high enough for a sale.  I was, to put it plainly, dumb.  The payout was entirely appropriate for the sale.  The Recurring Payment of $19.47 remains a mystery.

Re: Recurring Payment and discrepancies between selling price and payout

Did you take into consideration that Ebay will keep your Selling Fees out of the money the buyer pays you.  If you had your shipping label created in Ebay and paid via your MP account, they would have deducted your carrier cost too.

You can see all the details in your Selling Hub under the Payment Tab.

That happens with fees, any time I download a label or when I donate to a charity, but the term "Recurring Payment" concerns me as it implies a regular payment to eBay.  It could just be an unfortunate choice of words.

If you have your credit card saved, then sometimes purchases will appear with that "recurring payment" label even though it's just a one-time charge. Did you compare the $19.47 with your recent purchases @electronicsales806https://www.ebay.com/mye/myebay/v2/purchase

I don't understand your discrepancy.

Re: Recurring Payment and discrepancies between selling price and payout

I'm thinking it might be some postal charges I own, notably one that I got the label for then put the item in an express package.  I'm thinking it might not be recurrent as indicated, but a one-time payment.  Thank you for your help, though.

If it was a USPS label you'd see any recent APV cost adjustments here:

Got another one; this time for more:

07/18/2023 Recurring Payment--eBay SAN JOSE CA #5476 -$36.71

I live on Social Security and this is not tolerable for my budget.

Just noticed this is for something I purchased.  Sure wish eBay would show it as a purchase!

Just look at your reports in the Seller Hub.  You will see that it is the amount a buyer pays LESS Ebay fees and shipping labels if printed in Ebay and you have the payment taken from your MP account.  You will never see a payout that is exactly what the buyer pays you.
